Before Your Sedation Appointment
Please follow these instructions carefully to prepare for oral surgery with IV sedation. Failure to follow them may result in rescheduling your appointment.
Do not eat or drink anything including water for 8 hours before the appointment
No smoking for at least 12 hours prior to surgery
Do not wear tight clothing on the day of your appointment
Do not ignore a head or chest cold — call immediately if symptoms develop
Give 24-hour notice if you cannot keep your appointment
