I had a wonderful dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth at my appointment. She was not only very thorough but she was also VERY GENTLE, which I appreciate. When posed with questions I had, she explained in detail so that I was relieved and no longer had any concerns. And, I wasn't made to feel that my questions were stupid. This young lady was one of the best hygienists I've ever had and I hope I get her at my next appointment!

I do not like Dentists to start with, but Dr. Roy has changed that for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Roy and Markham family dental to anyone who is skeptical of Dentists.

Dr. Roy Burkhalter is excellent. He is thoughtful and gives me all the information I need to make informed decisions about my care. He and the rest of the staff I have interacted with are just genuinely nice.

This was my first visit to Markham Dental. The facility was clean, and the staff was friendly and courteous. Dr. Markham was kind and easy to talk to about life, and he and Natalie gave me some advise on how to better care for my teeth and gums. I left feeling valued and educated.

Dr. Burkhalter removed the wisdom teeth from three of my children. All of them recovered without any problems. Dr. Burkhalter has a very caring and calming personality. We appreciate his care and the care of all in the office.

Everyone, from the time you walk through the door and walk back out, treats you like a friend. The staff is very professional. There is minimal wait time. When we had a weekend emergency both dentist came in on a Saturday. They knew what to do and truly cared about us. It's always a pleasure to walk through their doors.

The staff are very friendly and understanding. Dr. Markham is one in a million he is very concerned understanding and friendly person. He makes you feel very relaxed before a procedure and during the work on your teeth he will also ask you if your doing ok. This is a great place to go if you need a dentist. Very clean place and you don't wait long in the waiting room either.

Our 18-year-old son, who has autism, recently had his wisdom teeth removed at Markham Family Dental Associates by Dr. Roy Burkhalter. Before that day, we had an appointment for all of us to visit the office in preparation for the procedure. Dr. Burkhalter went over every detail with our son to help reduce his anxiety and fear. On the day of the procedure, even though he was scared and anxious, our son knew what to expect. Dr. Burkhalter and the assistants were very patient and calm. They spoke calmly to our son and moved forward as he was ready. They took extra care to keep noise and bright lights to a minimum to help him stay as comfortable as possible. The time that was taken - before, during, and after - to help our son (and us!) handle the procedure with the minimum amount of issues was so amazing and incredibly appreciated. There is always an element of apprehension when our son needs to do something out of our son's routine but Dr. Burkhalter and the staff were absolutely amazing in their preparation and handling of his needs. We, without hesitation, recommend Markham Family Dental for patients with special needs!

Had teeth removed and jaw work done last spring. Now have dentures and couldn’t be happier. Dr. Burkhalter has taken excellent care of me all through the project. Will recommend him to everyone I know that needs dental work.
